Safe place to put stuff

There has been an increase in crime in our community. The police no longer respond to alarms etc. Having one work truck stolen and another fleeced for boxed tools, it is a bit frustrating to keep things secure. Sticky fingers are roaming the neighborhood. The local law enforcement is more concerned with taking reports than pursuing criminals. We are on our own out here in the largest city in the state.
I figure it is my job to take reasonable measures to secure my important items.
The safe I purchased is suitable for my needs, right now. It's built well. Sure, I could go for the top-of-the-line model, but anything to deter the thieves is a plus. I believe i will want another one in a few years. It is built well overall. The lock handle would be more comfortable if it had a bit more heft to it, but this will work for now.
Find a retailer in your area and make a visit. Go a little bigger than you initially anticipated, you will find stuff to load it. You'll be pleased with the quality of the product.

I think the safe is a great safe so far. I would like to have purchased a better one but my budget was Colonial 30 gun. I hope to upgrade to a second safe or maybe trade up in the next year. I would recommend Liberty to anyone looking for a safe. they have an easy web page, a great warranty and finally you get more security for the money. Great service also. |

The staff in the San Jose store was absolutely terrific in helping me decide on a safe. They listened to what I needed and were able to match me with the right safe. They also provided good insight on some of the accessories that were available. I needed a fireproof safe for business records and this fit the bill. The flexibility of the safe interior is a big plus as it allows me to change and modify as/when needed for efficient storage. The digital lock and the locking bolts are first class. |

I was extremely happy with the delivery people, they were great. They explained everything and were very personable. They also answered all of my questions. I especially liked it when Shawn kinda fell into my wet concrete!
I found a few minor flaws on my safe like excess glue spill and one corner near the door that was not coated.
So far, all is good and I will definitely recommend the Liberty Safe Store in West Sacramento!

After many days of trying to find the best safe for my needs, I finally settled on my Liberty safe. I needed a place to store our important documents, coin collection, and mostly my small collection of firearms. My wife & I are retired, and we are starting to travel a little more. I feel much more at ease knowing that my important possessions are safe when we aren't home to protect them ourselves. |

I purchased my Liberty Colonial safe at the Liberty Store in West Sacramento and believe I made a good choice for my needs and money. The store had all models available for review, sales staff explained the differences in models and I felt comfortable that if I had any future question or problem I could easily contact the Liberty staff and get satisfactory results. |

Securing a stamp collection

I needed a safe to securely store a stamp collection. The location of the safe required a small size to negotiate going down a flight of stairs with a landing. The size limit required the purchase of 2 safes to get the necessary shelf space.
The interior dimensions allowed space for three shelves. I easily removed the divider and shelves that came with the safe and replaced with 3/4 in. plywood.
Liberty's Response: With regard to your stamp collection, we recommend you store them in some type of additional protection/container that gives extra fire protection in the event your whole house burns down to the ground. The Colonial Series has a good fire rating of 45 minutes at 1200 degrees, but if your house burns for more than 45 minutes it's critical that extra fire protection be included inside to help protect those valuables. |

I purchased a Liberty Colonial 23 with the jewelry drawer, and could not be happier. Delivery service was excellent, and they fully explained the functions of the locking system. I looked about 6 months before making my decision and am pleased this was my choice. |
